Rach Evans

I have become a dedicated practitioner of yoga following a journey spanning over 20 years; I have found solace, strength, and an inner balance on the mat, enriching my life physically, mentally and spiritually.

Hailing from a background deeply rooted in the exploration of holistic well-being, I discovered my passion for Iyengar yoga when I met Cori & Pete Norton (Wye Valley Yoga) in 2009, and as the feeling to become a teacher grew I took up the challenge and commenced the teacher training in 2021. I received my level 1 Iyengar yoga certificate in April 2025 and i am now studying for level 2.

Outside of my practise, I am a married and devoted mother of four children. Despite the demands of motherhood, I prioritises my practice on the mat, finding moments of tranquility, inner peace, and a feeling of rejuvenation. Additionally, I enjoy spending time in nature and reading.

Iyengar Yoga

“By paying close attention to anatomical details and the alignment  of each posture, Iyengar Yoga is the practice of precision. Poses are held for long periods and often modified with props. This method is designed to systematically cultivate strength, flexibility, stability and awareness. B.K.S Iyengar, an Indian teacher and Guru, founded Iyengar Yoga.”
